  There is a lot of hype about this place and it's mostly well placed. There is no disputing that the food is very good. I had a completely unique sandwich unlike pretty much anything I'd ever tasted. However everything surrounding the food is pretty much standard or subpar.
  
  They have limited hours so actually getting to eat here is kind of a process. They also tend to run out of food before their closing time so they'll just close up shop whenever they are out or feel like they don't want to serve anymore. It's also in the VFW which I don't have a huge issue with but it feels like you're eating in a high school cafeteria.
  
  As I've already said the food is definitely good but it feel like it's really good lunch food at a fancy dinner price. I think my wife and I ended up spending over $30 just for just the two of us. The service was also pretty slow, I think we waited about 30-35 minutes to get our food and it took us 10-15 minutes just to order. Again great food but they really need to improve the business side of the operation.

  What a hidden gem. Tucked away inside the VFW next to Grady's. They have good foods in their own made Braize rolls. Blew away my expectations! Will definitely be returning.

  Some of the best food in Bloomington/Normal. Love their lobster roll, sweet potato chips, corn fritters, pretty much everything. If you are going there for lunch, get there right at 11 as the line can get pretty long.
